  • The first ever doll party in the earthquake and tsunami devastated Tohoku region was held in Sendai, the birthplace of the frictional character Sakura Shinguji from Sakura Taisen. Much has been discussed about the initial announcement that Dollfie Dream Sakura Shinguji was only going to be available at the event, since many of us living oversea and those who are living in Japan but just cannot make it to the event would have no chance to acquire Sakura directly from Volks. Eventually, much to the fans' delight, that decision was overturned prior to the event. In addition, since the two iDOLM@STER Dollfie Dream Miki Hoshii and Haruka Amami were unavailable in Volks USA, the after event lottery become the only way to acquire the newly developed one piece torso body directly from Volks at this time.

This year, it's Natsuki's turn to shine, with a new summer inspired outfit to go along with her. I can clearly remember how fiercely competitive it was to acquire one of these two limited Dollfie Dream back in 2009 Dollfie Dream Gathering, I am glad that Volks has finally listen to their customer and produce more of these classic design that a lot of people are still looking for.

  • Last year, the well known visual novel publisher Type Moon kicked off their 10th anniversary celebration with the announcement of the Type Moon X Dollfie Dream project featuring Saber Nero from Fate/Extra and Saber Alter II from Fate/hollow ataraxia; but apparently, they aren't nearly done with their celebration just yet.   • The center of attention for me at HTDP Sendai has got to be Sakura Shinguji from Sakura Taisen, like I mentioned before, Sakura is one of my most beloved bishoujo of all time. Despite the fact that her head and faceup is being handled my most hated designer Amanohakasei... with that being said, I have already planned for the worst case scenario ahead of time (I hated it when I am right even when I hoped that I was wrong)

  • By this time I should have just about arrived at Hong Kong to attend HKDP Dollism Plus 7 this year, unfortunately since the schedule between Dollism 7 run head to head with Anime Expo 2012, therefore making it impossible for me to come to Anime Expo again this year. Since I cannot personally attend Anime Expo, I have decided to collaborate with Dannychoo to arrange for one of my Dollfie Dream daughters to attend AX2012 as my proxy like the way I sent Airi chan last year, which I know she will be well taken care of during her stay in Anime Expo ~

  • The past 3 weeks has gone by pretty quick with #Euro2012 being the top of my agenda, leaving me with very little time for anything else. Now that the quarter final stage is over with England bowing out of the competition on penalty shootout (again), I can finally focus on preparing for my upcoming trip to HKDP Dollism Plus 7! Remember last year I decided to head back to Hong Kong to meet up with Dollfie Dream comrades based in Hong Kong, Singapore, Philippine and China; however, due to poor planning, poor weather and inadequate communication, I didn't accomplish as much as I had hoped, so I decided to head back to Hong Kong again this year~
