Posted on December 18, 2012 | No Comments | This post has 241 viewsAbout 2 weeks ago, the Final Fantasy Distant Worlds Tour arrived in Chicago for their 25th Anniversary Celebration concert; while I have heard about the Distant Worlds tour for some time but I have never been motivated to go, but since this is the 25th anniversary celebration tour and it is only stop in USA this year, making it sort of a special occasion that is difficult to pass up. Since I have a rather long history of playing Final Fantasy and have shared sort of a love-hate relationship with it over the past 20 years or so, it was a good opportunity to see this for myself at least once! -

I really didn't know what to expect in this new game and I wasn't even sure if I was in the mood to play and MMO. However after spending a few days on the game, I think it's safe to say that I would probably keep playing for a little while longer! So far, I have been enjoying what the game has offered.. sure there are some quirks that had to be worked out, but I am truly feeling like an adventurer again, taking on jobs the adventure guild has to offer... running across the continents without knowing what I got myself into... dying like a noob again. -

The biggest unknown factor is the server we are going to play in, there has been suggestions that we might go to Gysahl server but according to this particular poll, it seems to be an oceanic server, so I am still debating if that's the best server for me to go into.
