I am so far behind on blog posts I want to write, Dollfie Dream photos that's been waiting for post processing etc... that's not even funny anymore.... here is hope that I can somehow catch up on everything during my year end Christmas holiday. Anyway, I am sure a good number of you might have heard this by now as I have already blogged about the news of Shining Hearts Anime in my tumblr post yesterday. For those of you who are familiar with my habit should know by now, I care deeply about the "characters" Dollfie Dream I have chosen to "adopt" into my Dollfie Dream family. While I don't generally get too excited about new anime, but an anime that is connected to my Dollfie Dream daughters is definitely a must watch for me! -

Posted on November 7, 2011 | 2 Comments | This post has 661 viewsMajority of my figures collection have always originated from either anime and games that I have enjoyed; and if for some odd chances that I came across a figure that managed to catch my attention and I knew nothing about it, then I would start to search fanatically for information related to the said character... Not a whole lot of PVC figures have caught my attention in the past months or so but since I have spent a little time playing Daiteikoku a few months back (I haven't quite finish the game yet but hoping to get back into it during the holiday season), this Retia Adolf or Lertih Adolf -Ultimate Idol- version has caught my attention. Retia is one of the main heroines you can go after in game and she is crazy strong once you have recruited her. She is said to be the greatest genius in the (Daiteikoku) universe — she dramatically revolutionized the Third Reich's politics, economics, inventions, and military power while cheering on her troops in the Ultimate Idol form (which I never quite got to see in game yet). She even ranked first, with 7902 votes, in Alicesoft's female popularity poll, can anyone else top that? I am really glad that I can finally see what the Ultimate Idol mode looks like :) -

Posted on September 27, 2011 | 3 Comments | This post has 271 viewsIt has been an exciting week for Dollfie Dream related news, first we had the official announcement of the Type-Moon 10th Anniversary X Dollfie Dream project, then we have Volks News 45 which cover the Dollfie Dream Gathering that is scheduled to happen next month; by covering these two major events together within a matter of days had result in putting excessive resource usage in my shared hosting account that could bring down the server. My web hosting told me that even though my site didn't have that many visitors but the resource usage was exceeding the limit of the shared hosting account I have with them and they had to shut down my site.... At that point, I had a decision to make.... Do I let my web hosting shut me down and take down the exciting Dollfie Dream news that everyone want to read about? Or do I step away from the economical shared hosting solution to a Virtual Private Server (VPS)? Decision... decision... -

However, I will have to be honest here that I did have some doubt about Airy before she arrived. Part of the reasons, which most of us are already familiar with, has to do with Volks' inability to properly photograph their own Dollfie Dream; the other half, which is another well publicized discussion, has to do with whether Airy's original animetic eyes is truly suitable for her. While I rarely do anything to change the default look of my Dollfie Dream girls, but I feel that this is the right time to buckle the trend!
