I have been in this Dollfie Dream hobby for some time and have participated a countless number of epic after event sale battles, where winner get to take home the latest Volks limited dresses to their Dollfie Dream daughters... where losers get absolutely nothing.... As many of you are aware that Volks has completely redesigned their website at the end of February; however, the redesigned website in combination of this Kyoto 9 sale event has probably created one of the most frustrating experience ever for those of us who were trying to get their hands on the dresses that were on sale yesterday!

It's been 3 years since I started this little blog and I am happy to announce that it has just successfully managed to pass its 3rd birthday! Over the past 3 years I have most definitely came across more than a few liked minded comrades, so much that I even feel comfortable enough to traveled back to Hong Kong to attend Dollism Plus 6 (something I have put off for years!); but at the same time, I also ran into a few that don't get along with me or think of me as some sort of "elitist". As I mentioned in my 2nd anniversary post, I am establishing my own online presence as a way to meet new friends and most importantly, since I will never be able to please everyone nor would I ever pretend to do so; so it's fair to say that I would never try to befriend those who don't like the way I do things to start with.

I came across one of the coolest things I have lay my eyes on today, a super awesome 7ft tall Gundam MKII that's made out of paper and foam boards! As some of you who have known me for a while would know, beneath all that Dollfie Dream photography you see here, I am still a Gundam fanboy at heart! I even made the pilgrimage to Japan in 2009 to see the Odaiba Gundam with my very own eyes... There has always been at least one Dollfie Dream character from the ever popular Type-Moon Fate/hollow ataraxia and unlimited codes franchise every year since 2008 and this year is no exception! I initially picked up this rumor from a contact during my Hong Kong trip, who suggested that the Saber Nero from the Playstation portable RPG Fate/Extra will be coming out in December along with the US version of the game by Aksys ... little did I know that the usually secretive Volks would step up their game and confirming the rumor via the just released Dollfie Dream Fan Book during the Akihabara SR reopening celebration.

Home Town Dolpa Kobe After Event

With Home Town Dolpa Kobe featuring the debut of the third Touhou Dollfie Dream DD Sakuya Izayoi and and the fourth Akihabara Dollfie Dream DDS Akira finally over, Volks has already put up all the after event information up today, fully fledged English pages and all... personally I think Volks has definitely gotten better at updating their sites in recent months. The lottery entry period for limited item will be from August 15th to August 17th (Japan Time.)
