  • It's probably pretty difficult to not have heard about Nitro+'s mascot character Super Sonico in the past couple of months. Originally a nameless mascot character to represent a concert-like musical events called "Nitro Super Sonic". Since the fans adore this busty pink-haired anime girl wearing headphones and it didn't take long for Nitro+ to catch on and officially named this nameless mascot Super Sonico, the event she is meant to represent. And according to fresh information from dannychoo.com, Sonico and Mirai are now members of AKB48! I began testing the Super Sonico PC game that Nitro+ recently released the other night, called the SoniComi or Communication with Sonico. While it is not exactly an eroge game, but more like a dating simulation game. The game allow you to interact with Super Sonico as she progresses thru her idol career, given Nitro+'s history of erotic visual novel, I think we can expect a little more than just hanging out and chat with the pink-haired beauty. I am quite looking forward to the cameo appearance of Dannychoo's mascot character Mirai in game~

  • This week has been a very exciting so far, first with the confirmation of Sakura Taisen/Wars X Dollfie Dream project; now earlier today, the week just got better with comrade Wisefreeman alerted me regarding the existence of this Steins;Gate English patch. While I already knew a translation group was already working on delivering that but their release schedule was pointing to something closer to the end of the year release, so I was presently surprised to hear about this English Patch is ready for consumption here. Since I have already stated my intention to play the visual novel after watching the highly successful anime adaption, I wasted little time to install the patch after I got home from work.

  • It's been over 2 years since Good Smile Company announced one of my all time favorite PVC figures Saber Lily -Distant Avalon-, and it was more or less the reason why this blog was created in the first place... as I have explained in numerous occasions that the reason I even stumbled into the blogging world was because I was looking for more information related to this gorgeous figure... then the next thing I knew, I stumbled onto Dannychoo.com (and coincidentally, Danny is running a Saber Lily figure giveaway, why not head over there to check it out?) then before I knew it.... I got myself into the dark side ... I mean the world of Dollfie Dream... the rest is pretty much self-evident here. ^^;

  • At the end of the final TV episode of Steins;Gate earlier today in Japan, it was announced that production of Steins;Gate the Movie had been green-lit. Outside of the announcement video, no further details have been revealed. No idea on what the movie is about yet, but it will most likely going to be about the Alpha world line? In any event, I will be sure to look forward to seeing this!

  • The long awaited grand finale of Steins;Gate is only 12 hours away, I, like many other fans who discover how awesome Steins;Gate is have been bracing ourselves for the final twists of this wild ride. Many fans, like myself have been speaking up in various discussion forum and speculate on how the story manages to tie up all the remaining lose ends, namely, just how is Okabe going to manage to "save" his love interest Kurisu Makise from dying , destroy the the time machine paper and therefore prevent WWIII from happening at the same time? In preparation for this final episode, I have been looping Sky-Clad Observer (English sub) all week, got a bottle of Dr. Pepper ready... and on top of all that, I have even arranged to leave office early tomorrow so I can go home and watch the Crunchyroll simulcast in the comfort of my own home at the earliest possible moment! Oh yeah, it's that important to me.

  • I have made it no secret in the past couple of weeks that I am totally into Steins;Gate right now, next Tuesday cannot come any sooner! Anyway, when I was casually browsing the web for more Steins;Gate material to read about, I found out that 5pb and Nitroplus teamed up together to bring us an official Steins;Gate Divergence Meter Replica! There are two versions of the divergence meter, the α version (62,800yen) and the β version (59,800yen).... a little expensive X( If I didn't know about there is going to be an announcement from Volks regarding an upcoming Dollfie Dream web project, I probably would have gone for this :/

  • It's been a good deal of time since I was last motivated to blog about anime, but as some of you who follows my blog would know by now, for the past couple weeks I have been very much into Steins;Gate, quite possibly the only anime I have taken seriously this year. The series took a little while to pick up the pace but once it did, it has been a non-stop climax, plot twists and surprises. I sort of regret getting into the series a little late in the game but I am glad I decided to pick it up before it's was over because I would have missed out on the excitement for waiting for the grand finale to arrive. From what I have seen so far, Steins;Gate is definitely one of best VN to Anime adaption in recent years and that's saying a lot :3 Since we are almost near the end of the series, it would be a bit silly for me to go back and talk about every episode right now, so allow me to share some of the screen shots of episode 23: Open the Steins Gate, where everything is connected.

  • It's been a while since I decided to add any new PVC figure to my collection, but I think I have been struck with a Kurisu Makise 牧瀬紅莉栖 fever ever since I started my Steins;Gate marathon roughly 24 hours ago. I had no idea that Steins;Gate was a joint effort from Nitroplus which also brought us awesome eroge game such as Deus Machina Demonbane and 5pb. Inc. Now, Kurisu isn't normally what I would call a top notch bishoujo; but she certainly stands out from the run of the mill characters for me. And as comrade Tier have said so himself in his Kurisu Makise figure review, you don't normally find characters wearing short pants with pantyhose (ok, I admit I have a pantyhose fetish...), and I have to agree that certainly contributed greatly in my decision to add her to my ever growing list of 2D harem.
