Saber Lily Dollfie Dream And Nikon D7000
Posted on November 18, 2011 | 16 Comments | This post has 542 viewsFor the past year or so, I have been considering an upgrade to my existing Nikon D5000 since I believe I am at the point where I am approaching the limit on what I can do with the D5000. While my original intention was to upgrade to the next full frame release that was due to be announced this year (the rumored Nikon D800), but due to various reasons including Tohoku earthquake in March and the flooding in Thailand in July, the "rumored announcement" has been pushed back. After some careful consideration, I have concluded my best option right now was to acquire the readily available D7000 since I have already located a buyer to off load my D5000 to, the incremental cost to for upgrade from D5000 to D7000 wouldn't be that much; coincidentally, Nikon has been running a rebate promotion with their line of popular DSLRs, which made the decision to upgrade that much easier. -

To me, while it is important to spend time dressing up Dollfie Dream girls with various costumes, it is just as important to be able to capture those precious moments to the best of my ability so I can enjoy them again. I tried to do what I could with the camera gear I had at the time, but It didn't take very long before I decided to purchase my first DSLR Nikon 5000. While it was probably my first serious attempt at digital photography, I have managed to created many fond memories with my Dollfie Dream daughters. It was the right camera for me at the time, and I have learned a lot during these past two years and achieved a good understanding of its potential and capabilities; however, I believe I have reached the point where I am due for an upgrade (as some of you who follow my twitter stream might have noticed). With all that said, I am going to dedicate this post to pay tribute to my D5000 to show case some of the photos I have taken with it ~ -

I initially chose Wolfheinrich.com because it is my online alias, but it isn't exactly very readable or easy to remember for first time visitor; so after some serious consideration, I have decided to acquire a new domain name dollfigure.com that simply points to my permanent domain Wolfheinrich.com, after all, it's a whole lot easier to tell someone to go to dollfigure.com than wolfheinrich.com.... how did you spell that again? Some of you who has been paying attention have noticed I have already added Dollfigure.com into my blog title since last week. To my surprise, the Le chat de neige dress that Lily is wearing right is actually compatible with Peach Pai! What an important discovery!
