Wolfheinrich’s World 3rd Anniversary

Over the past 3 years I have most definitely came across more than a few liked minded comrades, so much that I even feel comfortable enough to traveled back to Hong Kong to attend Dollism Plus 6 (something I have put off for years!); but at the same time, I also ran into a few that don't get along with me or think of me as some sort of "elitist". As I mentioned in my 2nd anniversary post, I am establishing my own online presence as a way to meet new friends and most importantly, since I will never be able to please everyone nor would I ever pretend to do so; so it's fair to say that I would never try to befriend those who don't like the way I do things to start with. -
Saber Lily Dollfie Dream And Nikon D7000
Posted on November 18, 2011 | 18 Comments | This post has 998 viewsFor the past year or so, I have been considering an upgrade to my existing Nikon D5000 since I believe I am at the point where I am approaching the limit on what I can do with the D5000. While my original intention was to upgrade to the next full frame release that was due to be announced this year (the rumored Nikon D800), but due to various reasons including Tohoku earthquake in March and the flooding in Thailand in July, the "rumored announcement" has been pushed back. After some careful consideration, I have concluded my best option right now was to acquire the readily available D7000 since I have already located a buyer to off load my D5000 to, the incremental cost to for upgrade from D5000 to D7000 wouldn't be that much; coincidentally, Nikon has been running a rebate promotion with their line of popular DSLRs, which made the decision to upgrade that much easier. -
Tribute to My Nikon D5000

To me, while it is important to spend time dressing up Dollfie Dream girls with various costumes, it is just as important to be able to capture those precious moments to the best of my ability so I can enjoy them again. I tried to do what I could with the camera gear I had at the time, but It didn't take very long before I decided to purchase my first DSLR Nikon 5000. While it was probably my first serious attempt at digital photography, I have managed to created many fond memories with my Dollfie Dream daughters. It was the right camera for me at the time, and I have learned a lot during these past two years and achieved a good understanding of its potential and capabilities; however, I believe I have reached the point where I am due for an upgrade (as some of you who follow my twitter stream might have noticed). With all that said, I am going to dedicate this post to pay tribute to my D5000 to show case some of the photos I have taken with it ~ -

I initially chose Wolfheinrich.com because it is my online alias, but it isn't exactly very readable or easy to remember for first time visitor; so after some serious consideration, I have decided to acquire a new domain name dollfigure.com that simply points to my permanent domain Wolfheinrich.com, after all, it's a whole lot easier to tell someone to go to dollfigure.com than wolfheinrich.com.... how did you spell that again? Some of you who has been paying attention have noticed I have already added Dollfigure.com into my blog title since last week. I even put together a little promotional postcard for this occasion, featuring 10 of my most beautiful Dollfie Dream daughters... -

It hasn't been the easiest items to hunt in auction but I was finally able to acquire them recently. To my surprise, the Le chat de neige dress that Lily is wearing right is actually compatible with Peach Pai! What an important discovery! It goes without saying that Peach Pai ぴ～ち☆パイ is probably one of the most successful aftermarket accessories for Dollfie Dream, if the natural looking shape, realistic appearance and incredible cleavages are not enough to convince you, may be Sasara chan will help :3 -
Good Smile Company Unlimited Blade Works Rin And Dollfie Dream Loots
Posted on June 12, 2011 | 4 Comments | This post has 610 viewsUnlimited Blade Works has always been my favorite arc of the 3 scenarios from Fate/stay night, I guess part of it has to do with Emiya Shiro being extremely irritating from the Fate arc and I wasn't exactly a big fan of Matou Sakura either; so kind of bumping Rin on top as my favorite heroine from the game, although Saber Lily would have unanimously be given the top spot if she were to appear in the game though ^^; Anyway, I believe I have always said that Rin Tohsaka doesn't have as much merchandise love as the main heroine Saber and Saber Lily and it's also one of the main reasons why I decided to enter Dolpa 21 lottery to adopt Rin as one of the first Dollfie Dream I directly acquire directly from Volks. When I heard they are going to have an Unlimited Blade Works movie, I was super excited because I know for sure Rin would now get some merchandise love she deserves so much!
