School Days HQ Collector’s Edition From JAST USA
Posted on July 17, 2012 | 3 Comments | This post has 1,660 viewsIt's been a good long time since the last time I had written about an eroge game, and a few days ago, one of the most highly anticipated eroge game has just arrived from JAST USA, School Days HQ, arguably one of the most well known eroge games in the past decade that gave new meanings to the phase "nice boat" and "yandere". In reality, I have never been a huge fan of School Days myself, but I have always thought Kotonoha is a cute girl if she wasn't going on yandere mode, so when I heard JAST was collaborating with Overflow to bring School Days to the English speaking market, I was so excited and ordered my copy right the way. -

Back in 2011, JAST USA announced they are working with Japanese software publisher 0verflow, and localization group Sekai Project to bring us one of the most memorable eroge games of the last decade, School Days HQ. Today, I learned that JAST USA is preparing to release a Collector's Edition of the game! -

[PC Game] Super Sonico Communication First Impression

Originally a nameless mascot character to represent a concert-like musical events called "Nitro Super Sonic". Since the fans adore this busty pink-haired anime girl wearing headphones and it didn't take long for Nitro+ to catch on and officially named this nameless mascot Super Sonico, the event she is meant to represent. And according to fresh information from dannychoo.com, Sonico and Mirai are now members of AKB48! I began testing the Super Sonico PC game that Nitro+ recently released the other night, called the SoniComi or Communication with Sonico. While it is not exactly an eroge game, but more like a dating simulation game. The game allow you to interact with Super Sonico as she progresses thru her idol career, given Nitro+'s history of erotic visual novel, I think we can expect a little more than just hanging out and chat with the pink-haired beauty. I am quite looking forward to the cameo appearance of Dannychoo's mascot character Mirai in game~ -

Posted on November 7, 2011 | 2 Comments | This post has 785 viewsMajority of my figures collection have always originated from either anime and games that I have enjoyed; and if for some odd chances that I came across a figure that managed to catch my attention and I knew nothing about it, then I would start to search fanatically for information related to the said character... Not a whole lot of PVC figures have caught my attention in the past months or so but since I have spent a little time playing Daiteikoku a few months back (I haven't quite finish the game yet but hoping to get back into it during the holiday season), this Retia Adolf or Lertih Adolf -Ultimate Idol- version has caught my attention. Retia is one of the main heroines you can go after in game and she is crazy strong once you have recruited her. She is said to be the greatest genius in the (Daiteikoku) universe — she dramatically revolutionized the Third Reich's politics, economics, inventions, and military power while cheering on her troops in the Ultimate Idol form (which I never quite got to see in game yet). She even ranked first, with 7902 votes, in Alicesoft's female popularity poll, can anyone else top that? I am really glad that I can finally see what the Ultimate Idol mode looks like :) -

The story began in March, 1956. Tokyo; a metropolis finally starting to recover ten long years after Japan's defeat in the War. Private eye Tokisaka Reiji accepts a strange request from a girl named Kuchiki Toko to look for her true self. Meanwhile, a series of bizarre murders is plaguing the area, one where young women are disappearing, only to turn up dead and maimed with their wombs torn out. The murders are reminiscent of another string of serial murders that occurred six years ago prior to the game where Reiji lost his fiancée which drives him with a strong desire to solve this case.... -

I think it was back in July of 2009 when I first heard of JAST USA first announced that they were working with well known eroge game publisher Nitro+ to bring Deus Machina Demonbane to the English speaking market. At first I was so excited that I couldn't believe it. It's been a long and hard road to develop the eroge game market for the English speaking world, I can vaguely remember playing Three Sisters' Story and Season of the Sakura back in the mid 90s. Kudos to Peter and JAST USA to keep chucking at it after all these years! -

Anime Expo 2010 JAST USA Bishoujo Game Panel [NSFW]
Posted on July 10, 2010 | 11 Comments | This post has 1,314 viewsOne of the other objectives since I was already going to be in Anime Expo 2010 was to attend the JAST USA Bishoujo Game panel hosted by J-List, one of the very few companies brought Japanese goodies to the USA market back in the 90s. While I am already capable to play most of the Japanese Bishoujo games with the tools I have available to me, but that doesn't mean I don't care about the companies that continues to try to localize Bishoujo games for the English speaking world. Since JAST USA announced last year that they are working with Nitro+ to localize Demonbane into English, a game I have yet to play, that really prompted me to make it to their panel.
