Posted on September 28, 2011 | 5 Comments | This post has 268 viewsIt's been over 2 years since Good Smile Company announced one of my all time favorite PVC figures Saber Lily -Distant Avalon-, and it was more or less the reason why this blog was created in the first place... as I have explained in numerous occasions that the reason I even stumbled into the blogging world was because I was looking for more information related to this gorgeous figure... then the next thing I knew, I stumbled onto Dannychoo.com (and coincidentally, Danny is running a Saber Lily figure giveaway, why not head over there to check it out?) then before I knew it.... I got myself into the dark side ... I mean the world of Dollfie Dream... the rest is pretty much self-evident here. ^^; -
Good Smile Company Unlimited Blade Works Rin And Dollfie Dream Loots
Posted on June 12, 2011 | 4 Comments | This post has 513 viewsUnlimited Blade Works has always been my favorite arc of the 3 scenarios from Fate/stay night, I guess part of it has to do with Emiya Shiro being extremely irritating from the Fate arc and I wasn't exactly a big fan of Matou Sakura either; so kind of bumping Rin on top as my favorite heroine from the game, although Saber Lily would have unanimously be given the top spot if she were to appear in the game though ^^; Anyway, I believe I have always said that Rin Tohsaka doesn't have as much merchandise love as the main heroine Saber and Saber Lily and it's also one of the main reasons why I decided to enter Dolpa 21 lottery to adopt Rin as one of the first Dollfie Dream I directly acquire directly from Volks. When I heard they are going to have an Unlimited Blade Works movie, I was super excited because I know for sure Rin would now get some merchandise love she deserves so much! -
Rin Tohsaka 1/7 PVC Unlimited Blade Works Version

However, there are still some notable exceptions, the upcoming Rin Tohsaka 1/7 Unlimited Blade Works version is one such exception. I have made no secret in the past that I have always been a Rin Tohsaka fan, more so than the original Saber. It has always bothered me that Saber got all the glory from being the main heroine of Fate/Stay Night and got all the merchandise treatment, while leaving the equally likable Rin Tohsaka in the uncomfortable position, lacking any major merchandising love... in fact, in my opinion, there hasn't been one single Rin Tohsaka PVC figure that's worthy to be her namesake! While I was extremely fortunate in a way that I was able to acquire her Dollfie Dream form to ensure she has a proper representation in my harem lineup; however, that is not to say that I won't try to acquire a proper representation in PVC form either. Since Unlimited Blade Works is my favorite arc of the original story, it just made the decision making process that much easier! -

3D Custom Girl – Saber Lily Mod is finally here

Thanks to the good folks at Hongfire, the mod has been uploaded in megaupload since last month! The link can be found under this post. It's not really news anymore to those who are actively playing 3DCG, but for those of us who don't have the time to sort through the thousands of mods that are already out there, this is a huge find! I have noticed that someone has made this mod since march on this post, but the sad thing is I haven't been able to devote any time to find it, but I finally found it today! -

However, due to lack of display area in the past, I have never been able to protect every figurine I wanted to. With the new display area online and the 10 or so figures that are due to arrive later this year, I have decided to introduce a new system that can promote/demote my figurine collection from my dust protection system.
