Saber Lily Dollfie Dream In Hong Kong

It has been about three months since my trip back to Hong Kong with Saber Lily Dollfie Dream, but I have finally got back into swing to do post processing on some of these photos within the past week or so. In a way I was a little disappointed at the fact that the weather wasn't very cooperating during the whole week I was there and I was not able to take as many outdoor photos as I had hoped. In any event, I must thank twitter friend TonyBSD to show me around various places and allowing me to borrow his tripods. While this trip didn't yield as many photos as I had hoped, but please allow me to share some of them here~

This particular photo set was actually a joint effort with Twitter friend TonyBSD and his daughter Mashiro, we originally wanted to go out for outdoor photos but the weather wasn't cooperating during whole week I was in Hong Kong so we ended up taking much fewer photos than I really wanted.

Tribute to My Nikon D5000

It was soon after I decided to go into the world of Dollfie Dream, I thought if there was one other hobby that will complement my Dollfie Dream collection, it would have to be photography! To me, while it is important to spend time dressing up Dollfie Dream girls with various costumes, it is just as important to be able to capture those precious moments to the best of my ability so I can enjoy them again. I tried to do what I could with the camera gear I had at the time, but It didn't take very long before I decided to purchase my first DSLR Nikon 5000. While it was probably my first serious attempt at digital photography, I have managed to created many fond memories with my Dollfie Dream daughters. It was the right camera for me at the time, and I have learned a lot during these past two years and achieved a good understanding of its potential and capabilities; however, I believe I have reached the point where I am due for an upgrade (as some of you who follow my twitter stream might have noticed). With all that said, I am going to dedicate this post to pay tribute to my D5000 to show case some of the photos I have taken with it ~

And to celebrate this special occasion, I have my (yet to be introduced) daughter Dollfie Dream Moe ver. 2 here taking a photo with the book since they were both introduced at the same time!
