Tribute to My Nikon D5000
Posted on November 2, 2011 | 1 Comment | This post has 429 viewsIt was soon after I decided to go into the world of Dollfie Dream, I thought if there was one other hobby that will complement my Dollfie Dream collection, it would have to be photography! To me, while it is important to spend time dressing up Dollfie Dream girls with various costumes, it is just as important to be able to capture those precious moments to the best of my ability so I can enjoy them again. I tried to do what I could with the camera gear I had at the time, but It didn't take very long before I decided to purchase my first DSLR Nikon 5000. While it was probably my first serious attempt at digital photography, I have managed to created many fond memories with my Dollfie Dream daughters. It was the right camera for me at the time, and I have learned a lot during these past two years and achieved a good understanding of its potential and capabilities; however, I believe I have reached the point where I am due for an upgrade (as some of you who follow my twitter stream might have noticed). With all that said, I am going to dedicate this post to pay tribute to my D5000 to show case some of the photos I have taken with it ~ -

The latest round of loots I have acquired between October and November have finally arrived, so let's take a look at them. Today I have asked my *ahem* mysterious daughter and Kiriha to help show case the loots~ Some of these cloth sets were acquired directly from DD Gathering event that was held at the end of October, but since there is so much demand for these dresses that it was nearly impossible to acquire everything in one event. I ended up having to resort into Yahoo Japan Auction for some of these. -

This time I picked my Dollfie Dream Daughters Grand Glorious Gathering Sixteen Daughters Version, from a few months ago. It's always a pleasure to see how the Volks USA staffs react to my photo. Someone once said, a photographer is an artist who draws with light, I personally find that a very profound statement. As a photo artist, I have more or less developed my own style and preferences for my Dollfie Dream Photography over the years. I am still very much working to improve my photography skills, hopefully I will keep getting better at it :D -

I waited for months and months without finding them again, and I was left with pondering why I didn't try harder when the chance was available. This past two months of 2010 has been especially meaningful to me, since quite a few of the items I missed out on has reappeared in front of me.
