There have been a whole host of giveaway contests at figure.fm lately, and I have been wanting to do a little story board kind of a thing with my Dollfie Dream for sometime now; so this present a perfect opportunity for me to give my creativity a test drive, without further ado, let's dig to my first story board post - Dollfie Dream Theater! Dollfie Dream Theater is something I have wanted to do since I adopted my first dollfie, the giveaway contest just gave it a little motivation to get it kick started! Obviously, with the Hikari Photo Studio in the background, there are bound to be more interesting stories to come in the future!

Tonight I would like to interrupt your regular programming with another special edition of Otaku Project, this time we going to make a DIY Dollfie Dream saddle stand. Why do I want to make my own Dollfie Dream stand when I can just buy one off the shelf? For one, good quality doll stand cost a bomb! For the budget conscious dollfie papa or mama, it's a huge burden. Secondly, the good stand is always out of stock! So even if you want to buy one, it's easier said than done!

It's been rather busy for the past couple of days, Fate and Nanoha arrived just a tad sooner than I expected or was it just poor planning on my part since I knew Fate was going to arrive in July; as a result, I only managed to prepare a room for them but it didn't have lights in it before they moved in. The reason was rather simple, I didn't have time to go to Ikea to pick up another Dioder set before they arrived!

As part of the July 4th Independence Day long weekend, I had a day off from work yesterday. I guess it was a coincident that Dollfie Fate and Dollfie Nanoha, one from Volks Japan, another one from Volks USA would ended up arriving on the same day, everything just worked out the way I wanted! The only problem was that the UPS driver didn't show up until late in the afternoon so I couldn't start the the inspection until after dinner. Hobby Search came through with a package of their own as well, let's take a look at them.

Oh my, I am too tired to do a detailed update right now. But I will see how far I can go, Dollfie Fate and Dollfie Nanoha both arrived today to make my 6th and 7th daughters in a little over 2 months I think? lol I know, this is crazy, but if you would just let me explain, it's a long term project and they are worth every penny I spent on them!

I would like to spend a little time to reflect on all the pre-order activities that has been going on in the past month. As some of you are already aware of my recent interest in Dollfie Dream, I have been cutting back drastically on pre-order figures and various expenses, however, I have managed to balance out my pre-order list with some cancellation of my original pre-order.
