  • Once in a while, I would pick some of my best Dollfie Dream photos and send them to the Volks USA for their Customer Gallery. This time I picked my Dollfie Dream Daughters Grand Glorious Gathering Sixteen Daughters Version, from a few months ago. It's always a pleasure to see how the Volks USA staffs react to my photo. Someone once said, a photographer is an artist who draws with light, I personally find that a very profound statement. As a photo artist, I have more or less developed my own style and preferences for my Dollfie Dream Photography over the years. I am still very much working to improve my photography skills, hopefully I will keep getting better at it :D

  • For the past couple of weeks now, I have been saying repeatedly that we are finally approaching the more character centric phase of the story, and this new episode have just confirmed my prediction. Last week we were treated to a Kiriha centric episode through the sport festival, and this week we have the story related to Haruna. For those of you who had been following the story, you are probably aware of the fact that Kohei had spent some time on this island and made friends with Haruna and Kanade. However, due to a terrible accident that happened to Haruna after Kohei left the island.....

  • Last week I mentioned that this episode would likely to be about the Sport Festival, but the anime adaptation went much further than the original game plot and even took advantage of the situation to pull in contents from different parts of the game that we are not likely to see if we keep on proceeding with the main story; which is a good thing and it doesn't affect the overall feeling of the story up to this point. On top of all that, I got to say this episode is made for all the Kiriha fans out there!!!!

    Last week I mentioned that this episode would likely to be about the Sport Festival, but the anime adaptation went much further than the original game plot and even took advantage of the situation to pull in contents from different parts of the game that we are not likely to see if we keep on proceeding with the main story; which is a good thing and it doesn't affect the overall feeling of the story up to this point.   • Last week I briefly mentioned what is expected from this episode of Fortune Arterial, and I am happy to report that it is turning out exactly as I expected. The episode began with Iori explaining some facts related to their identity as Vampire, and that the Sendo family and Togi family have been friends for generations. Obviously, this episode focused a lot on the Athletic Festival, but we also got to peek into the Togi family history as well, which is also a crucial part of the story. It is also hinted that neither Erika nor Iori knew their origin of their Vampire heritage, that particular aspect should be explored further down the road as the story progresses. Those of you who find Fortune Arterial story lacked punch or progress, you would be happy to hear that we are near the end of the introductory chapter, then we will move onto the specific [insert name here] route. Once again, without spoiling the story any further, allow me to share some screen shots~

  • It's Friday again and that means it's another episode of Fortune Arterial! Even though DD Mari has already arrived today, my overwhelming desire to talk about Fortune Arterial has put off her un-boxing ceremony until later. In the spirit of not spoiling too much of the story for everyone again, allow me to explain the basic construction of the Fortune Arterial story. Within the original game, tThere is a main story arc which takes cares of introducing each of the heroines and then after a certain point in the story, it branches off for each heroines. So far, the anime adaption has been doing a very good job in covering all the major flags within the game with very little changes, which is a good thing for the fans of the original story like myself. In this particular episode, the ice-cold beauty Kiriha also marked her debut, I am very happy to see she has a fair part of screen play as well!   • I have made no secret that I will be watching Fortune Arterial TV Anime in the fall season, and since I found out not long ago that Crunchyroll will be simulcasting this have definitely made my day! I didn't plan on going to this event originally, however, fellow blogger Anonymous_Object from Cool & Spicy is traveling across the state line to come to this convention, so I decided to go as well since it would be a good opportunity to see his Yui in person.
