Dollfie Dream Erika Archive

  • It was soon after I decided to go into the world of Dollfie Dream, I thought if there was one other hobby that will complement my Dollfie Dream collection, it would have to be photography! To me, while it is important to spend time dressing up Dollfie Dream girls with various costumes, it is just as important to be able to capture those precious moments to the best of my ability so I can enjoy them again. I tried to do what I could with the camera gear I had at the time, but It didn't take very long before I decided to purchase my first DSLR Nikon 5000. While it was probably my first serious attempt at digital photography, I have managed to created many fond memories with my Dollfie Dream daughters. It was the right camera for me at the time, and I have learned a lot during these past two years and achieved a good understanding of its potential and capabilities; however, I believe I have reached the point where I am due for an upgrade (as some of you who follow my twitter stream might have noticed). With all that said, I am going to dedicate this post to pay tribute to my D5000 to show case some of the photos I have taken with it ~

  • For the past 11 weeks, I have been contemplating what kind of ending will the TV anime adaptation of Fortune Arterial has? Like I mentioned before, there are two possible endings with Erika Sendo in the visual novel, a "Normal End" which is less than ideal, left a bit unsatisfactory taste in your mouth; and a "True End", which bring about an all around happy ending. For weeks I have speculated that we were heading down the "True End" but for the past two weeks in a row, we have been seeing elements of the normal route which had certainly cast some doubt in my mind over my earlier projection. Now that I have seen the supposedly final episode, I can tell you that the TV anime ending is a modified version of the "Normal End" but it has left enough room to maneuver back to the "True End" route. For now, let me cut over to my usual routine and I will wrap this up with some final thought.

  • To help me celebrate the successful adoption of my 19th Dollfie Dream Daughter Saber Lily; I have prepared a special feature, a continuation of my Fortune Arterial ～赤い約束～ photo set, initially an inspiration from the OP theme 絆-kizunairo-色, but as I began I thought the entire theme could be better use in Christmas setting and that's how this photo set came about~ Let's not forget we are closing in to the exciting part of the Fortune Arterial Anime, which I have blogged about extensively through out this winter season.   • I was a bit later than usual before I got to watch the new episode of Fortune Arterial this week due to a prior commitment to hang out with a bunch of old colleagues, but boy, was I in for a surprise when I finally watch it a few hours ago! Up until last week, I was fairly positive that we were on track to reach the grand finale following the Erika true route... However, the alteration to the story in the most recent episode suggest that we might be in fact heading for a completely new ending! [spoiler] or combination of a couple things which I cannot disclose at this point or risk spoiling a very crucial part of the story![/spoiler] In any event, allow me to cut myself off again and switch over the memorable scene sharing :3, there are a ton of nice scenes in this episode!

As the title of this episode suggested, we are finally getting some in depth explanation of the darker side of the story and the necessary opposing force. Remember the mysterious character that showed up at the end of episode 4?
