  • It's been 3 years since I started this little blog and I am happy to announce that it has just successfully managed to pass its 3rd birthday! Over the past 3 years I have most definitely came across more than a few liked minded comrades, so much that I even feel comfortable enough to traveled back to Hong Kong to attend Dollism Plus 6 (something I have put off for years!); but at the same time, I also ran into a few that don't get along with me or think of me as some sort of "elitist". As I mentioned in my 2nd anniversary post, I am establishing my own online presence as a way to meet new friends and most importantly, since I will never be able to please everyone nor would I ever pretend to do so; so it's fair to say that I would never try to befriend those who don't like the way I do things to start with.

  • The month of December has proven to be very busy time this year, I had prepared materials for several blog posts but I never got around to work on any of them! I am so far behind on blog posts I want to write, Dollfie Dream photos that's been waiting for post processing etc... that's not even funny anymore.... here is hope that I can somehow catch up on everything during my year end Christmas holiday. Anyway, I am sure a good number of you might have heard this by now as I have already blogged about the news of Shining Hearts Anime in my tumblr post yesterday. For those of you who are familiar with my habit should know by now, I care deeply about the "characters" Dollfie Dream I have chosen to "adopt" into my Dollfie Dream family. While I don't generally get too excited about new anime, but an anime that is connected to my Dollfie Dream daughters is definitely a must watch for me!

  • Following up on the Hong Kong Trip 2011 With Saber Lily Dollfie Dream Day 3-4, those of you who has been reading my Hong Kong trip coverage might have noticeable I began to move further and further away from my hotel for breakfast as the days gone by, and the fifth day was no exception! On the fifth morning of since my arrival, I actually took the hotel shuttle bus to Tsim Sha Tsui where I knew at least a handful of traditional restaurants would be open for business quite early in the morning.

  • Following up on the great Oppai Day (おっぱいの日) on August 1st, we have Pantsu Day today because 8/2 would be pronounced as "8" = "pa" and "2" as "tsu" ="pantsu"~ And to properly celebrate this particular day, I have brought together two of my youngest Dollfie Dream daughters Airy and Neris to show us their shimapan! And on top of that, it will be the first public appearance of my Neris chan.

  • After spending about a week with Airy chan, I am happy to report that Airy chan has exceeded my original expectation of her! However, I will have to be honest here that I did have some doubt about Airy before she arrived. Part of the reasons, which most of us are already familiar with, has to do with Volks' inability to properly photograph their own Dollfie Dream; the other half, which is another well publicized discussion, has to do with whether Airy's original animetic eyes is truly suitable for her. While I rarely do anything to change the default look of my Dollfie Dream girls, but I feel that this is the right time to buckle the trend! Here we have DD Saber Lily to welcome her youngest sister :) 若果你有在跟隨我的推特或者Flickr的話, 你大概在過去一星期已經看到我的新娃女Airy的照片了 (因為我在忙着玩糟糕PC遊戲了), 但是現在正是好時機來正式為Airy介紹一下。 經過一個多星期之時間, 我可以說Airy的表現已經超出我的想像了! 但是話說起來在Airy到步前我也有點擔心的。 第一, 便是V社的官圖一直也很爛, 第二便是究竟Airy的眼是否適合她呢? 雖然我絕少變動我家娃女的原狀, 但是這次我也要破例了!

    After spending about a week with Airy chan, I am happy to report that Airy chan has exceeded my original expectation of her!   • A few days ago Volks USA has finally announced the winners for the Dolpa 25 limited item lottery and I am happy to report that I have successfully secured the right to adopt Dollfie Dream DD Neris to be my next daughter! Didn't I just adopted Airy the other day you ask? Well yeah but you see, the moment I decided to travel to the World of Shining Hearts to acquire the knowledge for both Airy and Neris, I have already decided to welcome both of them to my ever growing Dollfie Dream Family!

  • As of the moment you see this blog post, DD Airy has already cleared US customs and is scheduled to arrive at my home next week! Now you might be curious on how on earth did I manage to get her so fast, and I must say none of this would have been possible if not for one of the most powerful social media tool Twitter! I am sure most of you heard about how Twitter was responsible for spreading the news of Bin Laden's death long before the major news outlet was able to report on it; but how does that affect me? What really happened here was that one of my many comrades I met through twitter Dark Dollhouse just happened to be at Dolpa 25 and got an extremely good number out of her guide book. If it hadn't been for Twitter, I would have no idea that ddotark was at the Dolpa and had a good number!
