With the few years I have been in this hobby, I have developed a thing for group photo such as my August Four Riders. Fast forward to last September of last year when Volks announced the Type Moon X Dollfie Dream project, the thought had occurred to me that I have finally managed to assemble my very own Saber Sentai in Dollfie Dream form!

  • It's been 3 years since I started this little blog and I am happy to announce that it has just successfully managed to pass its 3rd birthday! Over the past 3 years I have most definitely came across more than a few liked minded comrades, so much that I even feel comfortable enough to traveled back to Hong Kong to attend Dollism Plus 6 (something I have put off for years!); but at the same time, I also ran into a few that don't get along with me or think of me as some sort of "elitist". As I mentioned in my 2nd anniversary post, I am establishing my own online presence as a way to meet new friends and most importantly, since I will never be able to please everyone nor would I ever pretend to do so; so it's fair to say that I would never try to befriend those who don't like the way I do things to start with.

  • Originally, I was going to compose a new photo shoot with my DD girls like I did last year; however the plan got shattered by Volks' untimely introduction of the Home Town Dolpa Kyoto 9 Limited Dollfie Dream. Since investigating the background story of newly announced Dollfie Dream take priority over everything else I do online, I have little choice but to immediately begin my VN marathon of Lucy Maria Misora's route in ToHeart 2; follow shortly by a play through in PhotoKano focusing on Haruka Niimi's route. However, that doesn't mean I am going to skip over the Valentine's day photo shoot! My most beautiful assistant editor/site mascot/daughter/waifu/yome/valentine Saber Lily Dollfie wishes everyone to have a Happy Valentine's Day~ And if you so happen to not have a valentine date, at least be productive tonight and do something about it~ I know exactly what I am going to do tonight :3

  • For the past year or so, I have been considering an upgrade to my existing Nikon D5000 since I believe I am at the point where I am approaching the limit on what I can do with the D5000. While my original intention was to upgrade to the next full frame release that was due to be announced this year (the rumored Nikon D800), but due to various reasons including Tohoku earthquake in March and the flooding in Thailand in July, the "rumored announcement" has been pushed back. After some careful consideration, I have concluded my best option right now was to acquire the readily available D7000 since I have already located a buyer to off load my D5000 to, the incremental cost to for upgrade from D5000 to D7000 wouldn't be that much; coincidentally, Nikon has been running a rebate promotion with their line of popular DSLRs, which made the decision to upgrade that much easier.
