On top of all that, I got to say this episode is made for all the Kiriha fans out there!!!! -

Although my interest in collecting PVC figure has dropped off massively over the year, the fact and the matter is, that figure still managed to catch my attention! So, despite not having planned to follow Yosuga no Sora, I decided to go about looking up more in depth information regarding the series. Those of you who find Fortune Arterial story lacked punch or progress, you would be happy to hear that we are near the end of the introductory chapter, then we will move onto the specific [insert name here] route. Princess Lover OVA 2 Review [18+]
Posted on October 24, 2010 | 3 Comments | This post has 27,326 viewsThis fall anime 2010 season has been a rather active season for me personally, I have been following closely on the development of one of my all time favorite visual novel to TV anime adaption Fortune Arterial. This past Friday in particular has been particular busy for me as it coincide with the release of the popular Princess Lover OVA 2, featuring Sylvie van Hossen as the main heroine. There was very little story wise to talk about in the first episode (other than the more than adequate explicit scenes) released last month; however the 2nd episode has managed a pretty decent recovery to. While it is still packed with a ton of rather explicit scenes (let's not forget this is an eroge), the direction of this episode has turned into exploring. Fan of the TV anime may find that this episode gave us more insight of Sylvie's mind as she struggled to come to terms with her new found sensitivity of her feminine self, her jealousy towards Yuu, and with her duty as a knight. Overall, I think this installment of Princess Lover OVA has made some decent adjustment to appeal to more than just an eroge fan in general but to a wider audience who would enjoy to see growth in a character. At the end of the episode, I am comfortable to say that Sylvie has definitely matured as a character. So, without further ado, allow me to share some screen shots as usual~ -

Even though DD Mari has already arrived today, my overwhelming desire to talk about Fortune Arterial has put off her un-boxing ceremony until later. In the spirit of not spoiling too much of the story for everyone again, allow me to explain the basic construction of the Fortune Arterial story. Within the original game, tThere is a main story arc which takes cares of introducing each of the heroines and then after a certain point in the story, it branches off for each heroines. So far, the anime adaption has been doing a very good job in covering all the major flags within the game with very little changes, which is a good thing for the fans of the original story like myself. In this particular episode, the ice-cold beauty Kiriha also marked her debut, I am very happy to see she has a fair part of screen play as well! I have been waiting for this day to come ever since I found out about it and now that I have watched the first episode, I am happy to report that it has definitely met my expectation, both in terms of the animation quality, faithfulness to the storyline and for Crunchyroll to bring us this top quality anime to our living room nearly simultaneously as it was being broadcast in Japan! -

Let's not forget Princess Lover is original an eroge game published by Ricotta, I have been waiting for the release of this OVA ever since I found out about it, because I felt the TV version of Princess Lover had too much focus on Charlotte Hazelrink, whom I didn't care for.... and I had secretly wished if Sylvie van Hossen was to be the default heroine instead. My prayer was definitely answered and we are treated with this two part OVA that focus solely on Sylvie <3333
