  • It's been a little over a year since I brought Dollfie Dream Erika into my DD family; but I have never been truly satisfy with her this whole time, which partly contributed to her lack of camera appearances. The biggest problem in my opinion, was due to the way Volks designed her wig, in fact 3 out of the 4 members of my August Four, Feena, Estel and Erika all suffered this what can best described as "bad hair day" syndrome.

  • For the past 11 weeks, I have been contemplating what kind of ending will the TV anime adaptation of Fortune Arterial has? Like I mentioned before, there are two possible endings with Erika Sendo in the visual novel, a "Normal End" which is less than ideal, left a bit unsatisfactory taste in your mouth; and a "True End", which bring about an all around happy ending. For weeks I have speculated that we were heading down the "True End" but for the past two weeks in a row, we have been seeing elements of the normal route which had certainly cast some doubt in my mind over my earlier projection. Now that I have seen the supposedly final episode, I can tell you that the TV anime ending is a modified version of the "Normal End" but it has left enough room to maneuver back to the "True End" route. For now, let me cut over to my usual routine and I will wrap this up with some final thought.

  • To help me celebrate the successful adoption of my 19th Dollfie Dream Daughter Saber Lily; I have prepared a special feature, a continuation of my Fortune Arterial ～赤い約束～ photo set, initially an inspiration from the OP theme 絆-kizunairo-色, but as I began I thought the entire theme could be better use in Christmas setting and that's how this photo set came about~ Let's not forget we are closing in to the exciting part of the Fortune Arterial Anime, which I have blogged about extensively through out this winter season. In the end, I just couldn't think of better candidates to help me kick start this holiday season than having two of my most beautiful daughters Kiriha and Erika wearing nothing but some red ribbons :3

  • I was a bit later than usual before I got to watch the new episode of Fortune Arterial this week due to a prior commitment to hang out with a bunch of old colleagues, but boy, was I in for a surprise when I finally watch it a few hours ago! Up until last week, I was fairly positive that we were on track to reach the grand finale following the Erika true route... However, the alteration to the story in the most recent episode suggest that we might be in fact heading for a completely new ending! [spoiler] or combination of a couple things which I cannot disclose at this point or risk spoiling a very crucial part of the story![/spoiler] In any event, allow me to cut myself off again and switch over the memorable scene sharing :3, there are a ton of nice scenes in this episode!

  • I have been saying that we are inching closer to the main story line of Fortune Arterial for several weeks in a row now, onto episode 7, we are "finally" arriving at the core of the story-the Sendo Erika arc. For those of you who are wondering where is the vampire element of the story, it's finally here! If the script writer's intention is to follow the true arc of the story, then the Sendo Erika arc we are seeing now should serve as the baseline to answer to of the previously unanswered questions, why is the Togi Family considered the leader of the island? Why Kiriha acts the way she does ? What exactly happened to Haruna? It is taking some huge effort in my part to avoid spoiling the story at this point because we are so close but yet if I were to say anymore than I did, that would certainly take away some of the excitement from discovering the intricacy of the entire story.
