It was only a matter of time before I put two of my most favorite Dollfie Dream daughters DD Saber Lily セイバー・リリィ and DD Kiriha Kuze 紅瀬桐葉 together for a full photo shoot, the pictures from the New Year Greeting post were merely a preview of what was probably a fact that was waiting to happen; I wouldn't put it past some of you who regularly visit my blog that this was already in the work ^^; What kind of photo shoot would I put together for my most favorite daughters the more mature and sexy Lily and together? Well, I actually tried to throw in a mixture of themes this time, involving the sexy, sisterly love and some light yuri perhaps =3.

Alright, so I finally made it to the new cast on the PS2 port version Estel Freesia. What can I say about her? Estel is quite a tsundere, more than Natsuki (especially after I started her Moonlight Cradle arc) and definitely a tough nut to crack! I am going to try a slightly different approach and compact her story a bit more, Feena's story was way too long and I probably had way too much details in the last writeup.

The main objective this time was to correct a few oversights I had in the last outing so I had to take DD Asuka アスカ and DD Rin 遠坂 凛 out again, but that would be a tad too dry just to keep taking photos of those two so I decided to take DD Saber out with me as well.

Ever since the announcement of Dollfie Dream Sasara 久寿川 ささら by Volks a few days ago, I have assigned utmost priority to learn about Sasara's story. It's funny that I have been putting it off for more than a year, and I know I have been wanting to do it but the announcement of DD Sasara gave me the final nudge in the back I needed to start another visual novel marathon. I suppose this is my first Leaf game as well.

However, the convergence of various factors this year including the chance of meeting some of the friends I have made online at figure.fm, a trip to Volks USA and meeting Danny in person were enough to persuade me to make this journey. So, for this past weekend, I have picked my most pampered Dollfie Dream, DD娃娃 Kiriha Kuze 紅瀬桐葉 to accompany me to Anime Expo 2010 in Los Angeles!

How long has it been since I acquired the cloak for Saber? Hmm ever since Airi arrived? Yeah, I been wanting to do a Saber solo shoot out for that long, but laziness and procrastination delayed it for this long! Errr, not really, I was busy with other stuff and had the lighting setup packed away and didn't pull them back out until just recently. Anyway, I been wanting to do this shoot out with Saber standing in front of the Buckingham Palace and I have finally done it! I think I managed to pack a few pretty good shots in there, hopefully you would enjoy them as much as I did :D

I am just going to say it to get it off my chest, Natsuki Takamizawa (鷹見沢 菜月) deserves more attention than she is getting! Ok, while I don't think Natsuki is in the same league as Feena in terms of elegance and beauty, and she may just be a plain Jane next door neighborhood girl; but she is quite cute in her own rights, I don't understand why there hasn't been a single figure made of her yet.

It's been another intense camera action day as I have a lot on my agenda. The first order of business is to have two of my lovely daughters to try out the two of the most adorable maid dress set from Kyoto 7, Sasara School Swimsuit Maid and He is My Master Maid Dress set. There is no argument for who should wear the School Swimsuit Maid, but there was room for debate for the He is My Master Dress set, I finally decided to have Kiriha model for us, why Kiriha? Because she is my most pampered daughter! There will be some hints of yuri action here and there in this photo session, as I finally come to term to fulfill the promise I made way back to take some yuri photos for my daughters XD. As a matter of fact, I have just gotten the email from Volks the other day confirming the shipment for my DD Gathering 2012 order, news of the upcoming November New Dress Collection has already surfaced. Most notable absence from the lineup is lack of any Tenshi no Sumika entries, seemed like most of the November collection are geared for Super Dollfie. On the other note, with Dolpa 28 scheduled for December 16th, we are most likely going to see the limited Dollfie Dream within the week as VS/VIP members are scheduled to receive their Volks News on November 2nd. Based on the information available thus far, I am expecting another After School Akihabara Girls entry, Natsuki's sister Nanami and Aoko Aozaki from Mahōtsukai no Yoru. -

The type III body promised increased articulation, the ability for the arm to hold up heavy objects, etc etc. In a nut shell, the type III body delivered what it promised; however, at the same time, there were some design trade-off that wasn't readily apparent to most of us at that time. In the course of introducing new movement range and capability, the new body became weaker, reports of broken shoulder joints started circulating the internet within months of the introduction of the new body. I have always handled my DD girls with great care and had so far been free of any incident until about a month ago when I was getting Sakuya ready for the California trip. I noticed some cracks started to develop when I pulled her arms out to change her dress... I was devastated, my most beloved Sakuya chan now has a cracked shoulder joint!!! It took me a few minutes to overcome my sadness, then I realize as a mechanical engineer with 16 years of working experience, I owe myself a full blown investigation! After taking a closer look at the shoulder joint, I finally realized why we are seeing cracked shoulders... -

For the past couple of years, Volks has been pushing the Dollfie Dream web order project, first there was Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Dollfie Dream, then there was White Album Dollfie Dream Project, Touhou Project, and most recently the TYPE-MOON x Dollfie Dream Project. It was only a matter of time before they announced the fifth project, in fact there was already some chatters in 2ch suggesting several possible options... but today Volks has finally made the announcement on their 50th anniversary Volks News that they are indeed working on their fifth web order project! Incoming Xenosaga III X Dollfie Dream! No specific character is announced at this point, but it's probably a safe bet to say it will most likely be KOS-MOS ver. 4 and probably T-elos? Honestly, Volks has been hitting all the right notes for me for the past couple of month, first they announced Sakura Shinguji dollfie dream and now Xenosaga III? This is just perfect as I have always been a die hard KOS-MOS fan, I was very sad that the game itself never quite reached its full potential and the developer monolith soft had to bring an abrupt end to the story by ending it with chapter III Also sprach Zarathustra. With the story basically end and with no sequel in sight, there was little hope to see more KOS-MOS related merchandise; but this announcement changed all of that! A possible KOS-MOS Dollfie Dream is just what I needed in my family of Dollfie Dream..... Xenosaga series might have ended, but KOS-MOS will live on as my next Dollfie Dream daughter!
