Posted on October 12, 2011 | No Comments | This post has 2,870 viewsThis week has been a very exciting so far, first with the confirmation of Sakura Taisen/Wars X Dollfie Dream project; now earlier today, the week just got better with comrade Wisefreeman alerted me regarding the existence of this Steins;Gate English patch. While I already knew a translation group was already working on delivering that but their release schedule was pointing to something closer to the end of the year release, so I was presently surprised to hear about this English Patch is ready for consumption here. Since I have already stated my intention to play the visual novel after watching the highly successful anime adaption, I wasted little time to install the patch after I got home from work. -

Posted on June 12, 2011 | 4 Comments | This post has 610 viewsUnlimited Blade Works has always been my favorite arc of the 3 scenarios from Fate/stay night, I guess part of it has to do with Emiya Shiro being extremely irritating from the Fate arc and I wasn't exactly a big fan of Matou Sakura either; so kind of bumping Rin on top as my favorite heroine from the game, although Saber Lily would have unanimously be given the top spot if she were to appear in the game though ^^; Anyway, I believe I have always said that Rin Tohsaka doesn't have as much merchandise love as the main heroine Saber and Saber Lily and it's also one of the main reasons why I decided to enter Dolpa 21 lottery to adopt Rin as one of the first Dollfie Dream I directly acquire directly from Volks. When I heard they are going to have an Unlimited Blade Works movie, I was super excited because I know for sure Rin would now get some merchandise love she deserves so much! -

I think it was back in July of 2009 when I first heard of JAST USA first announced that they were working with well known eroge game publisher Nitro+ to bring Deus Machina Demonbane to the English speaking market. At first I was so excited that I couldn't believe it. It's been a long and hard road to develop the eroge game market for the English speaking world, I can vaguely remember playing Three Sisters' Story and Season of the Sakura back in the mid 90s. Kudos to Peter and JAST USA to keep chucking at it after all these years! -

I never knew where I would be when I first started 2 years ago. All I knew back then was to start a blog and establish my own online identity and to make like minded comrades who share my otaku interest. I am pretty confident that I have been making steady progress towards my initial objective as I have already outlined in my first anniversary post. Princess Lover OVA 2 Review [18+]
Posted on October 24, 2010 | 3 Comments | This post has 26,812 viewsThis fall anime 2010 season has been a rather active season for me personally, I have been following closely on the development of one of my all time favorite visual novel to TV anime adaption Fortune Arterial. This past Friday in particular has been particular busy for me as it coincide with the release of the popular Princess Lover OVA 2, featuring Sylvie van Hossen as the main heroine. There was very little story wise to talk about in the first episode (other than the more than adequate explicit scenes) released last month; however the 2nd episode has managed a pretty decent recovery to. While it is still packed with a ton of rather explicit scenes (let's not forget this is an eroge), the direction of this episode has turned into exploring. Fan of the TV anime may find that this episode gave us more insight of Sylvie's mind as she struggled to come to terms with her new found sensitivity of her feminine self, her jealousy towards Yuu, and with her duty as a knight. Overall, I think this installment of Princess Lover OVA has made some decent adjustment to appeal to more than just an eroge fan in general but to a wider audience who would enjoy to see growth in a character. At the end of the episode, I am comfortable to say that Sylvie has definitely matured as a character. So, without further ado, allow me to share some screen shots as usual~
