I'm a life long Otaku (mid-30s) that has recently taken up the interest of writing my own blog site after visiting Dannychoo.com. I grew up watching Kaman Rider V3, Daitetsujin 17 and Spaceship Yamato. My main interest is to collect figures, gunpla, search for and collect anime and superheros back in the 80s (super classic fan), but I do try to keep in touch with current trend.

  • As Dolpa 27 came to a close last Sunday, I am sure those of us who did not have a chance to attend the doll party are eagerly awaiting for the announcement of the After Event sale (those of you who are not familiar with After Event, please read up on my Where to buy a Dollfie Dream guide). The actual After Event sale is on May 26th but Volks will begin accepting After Event lottery applications for limited items between May18th - 22th Japan time. Since MDD Cirno was not available for Volks USA lottery, this After Event represent the only opportunity for those of you who are looking to acquire one directly from Volks; although it is not 100% clear at this point Cirno will be available to international lottery, but I have yet to see any indication that suggest otherwise.

  • Originally, I was going to do this introduction post much earlier, but since my room was still in the midst of renovation and was not ready to do a proper photo shoot for them.   • It's been just over 2 weeks since the official announcement of the limited Dollfie Dream due to be available at Dolpa 27 on May 6th, today Volks USA has confirmed that Shining Blade Dollfie Dream Sakuya and Persona 4 Rise Kujikawa will be available for lottery in US. The most notable omission of announcement is the Touhou Dollfie Dream Cirno, which is apparently not available for Volks USA lottery. In reality, that's not totally out of the realm of my expectation since Touhou merchandises are never really officially made available for sale outside of Japan... Dollfie Dream Sakuya Izayoi recently broke that trend by exploiting the loop hole of International After Event lottery, and I expect the same will hold true for Cirno, only time will tell for sure.

  • Continuing my coverage for the Dolpa 27 limited Dollfie Dream, the next one up is Rise Kujikawa from Persona 4. I must say that Rise came as a bit of a surprise since I was expecting 2 Dollfie Dream from the Shining Blade series, however, it sort of serve my purpose since I am not really interested in Persona 4 personally XD. Sculpt by Kosuke Kitahara, previous work includes Rina Ogata, Kiriha Kuze, Beatrice, Moe/Natsuki, and Haruka Niimi etc, Rise really came with a very unique face sculpt as far as a Dollfie Dream is concern. While her dedicated webpage isn't ready yet, but DD-blog has released a couple of photos today~

  • I have been waiting for the release of this dollfie dream ever since I saw her character introduction during my playthrough for the Shining Hearts Dollfie Dream Airy and Neris, but I guess they saved the best for last; and Sakuya was only a guest character known as Maxima in Shining Hearts (to hide her true identity for obvious reasons), her true story actually begin in Shining Blade, so I guess that make sense in a way~

  • We have first seen it introduced back in WF2012 Winter, now it's finally available for pre-order from your favorite online store, the upcoming [Fate/Zero] 1/3 Servant Saber from Azone International~ Those of you are who are not too fond of Volks' Dollfie Dream Saber should take a look at the Azone version... in my opinion, the Azone head is much more faithful to the Type-Moon original illustration than Volks, although your preferences might differ~
