DP31 is less than a month away and Volks is keeping their promise of robbing us clean every Dolpa! Rin Shibuya and Ranko Kanzaki are the two latest entries from the iDOLM@STER x Dollfie Dream collaboration program, rounding up the total number of iM@S Dollfie Dream to six. These two new entries are from THE iDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls project, a social mobile game for Mobage. To be honest here, tt’s been a while since I get really excited about a new Dollfie Dream releases (Erica turned out to be a dark horse but all is well under control!) and when I first heard about Rin Shibuya being next in line for Dollfie Dream, I wasn’t paying too much attention because I haven’t been following the iDOLM@STER series. Then the unexpected happened and the moment I lay my vision on the first promotional photo of Rin Shibuya, I knew I was in trouble… Even though Volks has rarely ever been able to bring out the true quality of their dolls in their own photos, but I have learned over the years how to “adjust” my vision properly to spot out the gems from the rocks based on my own preferences. Since Volks has already updated their site with newer close up photos of the new girls, let’s take a closer look at her!
Based on the information released from DD blog, Rin Shibuya’s head designer is みさきせりか Serika Misaki（造形村）, previous work included some of the most wildly successful characters such as Saber, Saber Lily, Kusugawa Sasara, Yuki Morikawa, etc.
One of the cool aspects of these collaboration with existing/popular franchise is that the costume is guarantee to be pretty fancy, don’t you agree?
Also available is Rin’s school uniform, casual yet very charming.
I don’t know about you, but I have already made up my mind about Rin!
Next, let’s take a look at Ranko Kanzaki.
Ranko’s head designer is also Misaki, and while she isn’t exactly my taste but I am pretty sure she is going to be popular as well.
Similar to Rin, Ranko also has her unique casual dress.
It’s going to be a tough fight to bring either of these beauties home, are you ready?
