There has been a lot of build up to the Xenosaga III X Dollfie Dream project, and Volks has finally released the official photos of Dollfie Dream KOS-MOS ver. 4 and Dollfie Dream Sister M.O.M.O. over twitter today! A lot of reaction was generated from the twitter crowd, but in my opinion, I believe Volks did a good job of transferring KOS-MOS in game image to Dollfie Dream form.
The more I look at her, the more I believe this head is sculpted for the awakened version.
Instead of the normal “pointy nose”, they went with a realistic nose representation; which, in my opinion is well executed.
I actually had a problem with the realistically sculpted Dollfie Dream before, but I seems to have no problem with KOS-MOS at all! On top of all these, we all know that the official photos from Volks only tells half if not less of the real story here. The other half of the story will be answered when I get my own hands on KOS-MOS myself.
KOS-MOS with the hand vulcan, going to need 2 haha.
It’s decided, KOS-MOS will be recruited into my Dollfie Dream family! Though I should make it a point that I definitely prefer the blue eyes version myself. Since the head is definitely a more mature/gentle representation that you see after Mary Magdalene have awakened within KOS-MOS

It should also be noted that there is currently a petition campaign going on for Namco/Bandai to release a Xenosaga HD Collection for PS3/Xbox360, please take a look and offer your generous support for this petition.
On the other hand, 2 photos were released for M.O.M.O., no close up photos are available but she definitely look good from this distance!

I will make my decision for M.O.M.O once more photos becomes available!

Loving the facial sculpt for Kos-Mos! She really looks stunning. Volks went all out for Kos-Mos, not only is her sculpt and wig looking terrific, her suit/gear looks fantastic! ^^
So very tempting…
We can use better photos still but from what I am able to see so far, looks like they did a good job with the head sculpt.
I’m impressed. Captured the 3d model faithfully, only complaint is the bright blue hair. Needs to be more cold? A blue/purple color is better. Of course Kos-mos will really shine when she reaches owner hands. But then that usually holds true for all DD!
M.O.M.O is quite cute. Certain sculptor pulled out a win with that face, he may be upping his game.
My thought exactly as well. I have been saying that for days now, Amano Hakase has definitely pulled a win out of this project.
Is the preorder opened on Volks JP yet? I can’t find the preorder sheet. Everytime I click the pre-order link it take me to a “How to Use” –> “Pre-order Procedures” page but no pre-order button for me to click.

Thanks Wolfheinrich! I must be blind.. Anyway I ordered both and 2 hand vulcans. I like the pre-order first pay later method much better.
I was afraid it might happen, and indeed, KOS-MOS was love at first sight. I don’t even want to imagine how beautiful she’ll be in person … it’ll be hard to take my eyes off her! I’ll have to work really, really hard at saving money for her and her gear, but there’s absolutely no way I can let myself pass her up.
M.O.M.O is also very cute, but (thankfully, as I couldn’t possibly afford both of them) she’s not as much of a “must have” for me.

I have confidence that the actual KOS-MOS will be better than these pictures. MOMO was a dark horse for me, but Amano Hakase has proven himself to be relevant in his most recent work of Sakura Shinguji and now MOMO.
