This fall anime 2010 season has been a rather active season for me personally, I have been following closely on the development of one of my all time favorites visual novel to TV anime adaption Fortune Arterial. This past Friday in particular has been particular busy for me as it coincide with the release of the popular Princess Lover OVA 2, featuring Sylvie van Hossen as the main heroine. There was very little story wise to talk about in the first episode (other than the more than adequate explicit scenes) released last month; however the 2nd episode has managed a pretty decent recover. While it is still packed with a ton of rather explicit scenes (let’s not forget this is an eroge), fan of the TV anime may find that this episode gave us more insight of Sylvie’s mind as she struggled to come to terms with her new found sensitivity of her feminine self, her jealousy towards Yuu, and with her duty as a knight. Overall, I think this installment of Princess Lover OVA has made some decent adjustment to appeal to more than just an eroge fan in general but to a wider audience who would enjoy to see growth in a character. At the end of the episode, I am comfortable to say that Sylvie has definitely matured as a character. So, without further ado, allow me to share some screen shots as usual~

Yuu is quite a cutie in my own taste, I have to play the game myself one day to learn about her story!
But this is an eroge after all, a lot of focus is put into the eroge scenes~

At this point, Sylvie has almost giving in to the idea of just becoming Teppi’s woman..
But right at the cross point, a war broke out in Sylvie’s home country….
And that basically forced Sylvie to make a decision point.
Before Sylvie and Teppei parted ways, they embraced each other one more time.

At the beginning, Sylvie was very insecure when she first became aware of her feminine side, coupled with her jealousy towards Yuu, which made for a very confusing Sylvie during the first episode; however it is fair to say that towards the end of the second episode, she has finally found herself again. Overall, I found the mini OVA series to be rather satisfactory, both in terms of character development and *cough* eroge content *cough*.
I have always heard that Sylvie is more or less like a Saber clone, in terms of personality, looks etc… so while there isn’t a Sylvie van Hossen Dollfie Dream yet; I do have a few naughty photos of Dollfie Dream Saber Lily here to share XD. Is Saber Lily as naughty as Sylvie van Hossen? You’ll be the judge XD~

I like the OVA as well, one of the better ones recently.
I didn’t watch the TV series because I didn’t like the main heroine in it. Of course I didn’t know that it was a Eroge so now I am pretty interested but I will not have time to play it.
Would be great to see you talk about it! ^ ^
Going by my opinion though, I would have preferred that the ending had Sylvie staying with Teppei and no war stuff instead. T.T
