Over the past year since I have entered the world of Dollfie Dream, I have mistakenly allowed some of my most desired items slipped past my grasp. I waited for months and months without finding them again, and I was left with pondering why I didn’t try harder when the chance was available. This past two months of 2010 has been especially meaningful to me, since quite a few of the items I missed out on has reappeared in front of me. This time I wasn’t going to let them slip pass me again! A pretty big haul that is, but I am very happy that I have finally gotten them in my hands! So, let’s take a look at them, shall we?

Today is special occasion for Feena because the long sought after Mashiro Mito alternate wig from Dolpa 22 has finally arrived! Obviously I have to have Feena put it on right the way! More under the cut~
Even though Feena is my 4th daughter, she has arguably the least amount of camera exposure among my 10 girls… why? Because her Volks default wig is just not good enough, any close up shots on her head would inevitably reveal the flaw underneath it… in order to help hold Feena’s crown in place, Volks decided to plant a bunch of short frizzy hair underneath the top layer to make the wig thicker. While it might have helped to hold the crown, it compromised her overall appearances. I have bid on a separate Feena limited wig and the result was nearly identical… so I gave up until I saw the Mashiro Mito’s alternate wig in the Hakama set, I knew it in my heart that is one chance for me to give Feena a new face under the spotlight. I tried to enter the lottery for both USA and After Event, but due to the lack of appeal of the other limited items from Dolpa 22, I believe majority of the people went for the Hakama set thus making it extremely hard to come by. The after market price for the Hakama set doubled immediately after the event and I wasn’t willing to pay that much money for it since I am only really interested in the wig itself. I waited and waited and finally, I found an auction with the wig by itself. I am very happy that Feena finally has a wig that she can be proud of!
From this day henceforth, Feena is no longer my closet daughter!
Next up are the twintail wig I acquired from Miruya.com! Ever since I spotted the K’s D・Dream Studio website last year, I am been wanting that twintails wig that Natsuki wore in the picture.
And I finally was able to find it a few weeks ago, ordered a dark grey and an ivory ones and had our resident cosplay queen try out the wig immediately.

Next up is the Pia Carrot 3 Floral Mint costume!!! Does Pia Carrot 3 ring a bell to you? If you don’t… that’s ok… but if you know what I am talking about, then you are probably one of those I consider as “seasoned vet” in the eroge game industry. Rated as one of the best eroge games in 2001 (you have to be an old timer to know this stuff though 
). The Pia Carrot franchise from Fandc was one of the earliest AVG+SLG dating simulation game beside Doukyusei franchise from Elf Corporation available in the Windows platform. In 2005, Azone International released 60cm costume for two of the costume design used in Pia Carrot 3, needless to say, I have to get my hands on them! This foral mint costume is a crucial element for my upcoming “Harem Maid Cafe” photo shoot! I had to fight tooth and nail for this auction since this is one of the rarest items in YJA and always attract a lot of attentions!
The next 3 items are related to well known Erika Sendo from Fortune Arterial! If you had been following my blog, or knew what I was doing in most part of January, I probably don’t need to explain why the Erika limited wig, Erika plain clothes and the Erika full size microfiber towel doing here now do I? lol
I have always been fond of the Volks’ french maid costume design for Asuka and I thought wouldn’t it be wonderful if I can get my hands on the Rei color as well? Another crucial element for my “Harem Maid Cafe” setup!
I have always said I am a Rin fan and I have always said Rin deserves more attention than she is getting. I have generally lived up to my words and put them into action, such as adopting Rin as my 5th daughter, acquiring her 1:1 scale wallscroll all the way from Japan, etc. So when I found out that there is a new portrait book dedicated for Rin, I wasted little time to try to get my hands on it!
That’s a whole lot of stuff in one haul! My saving account is going to take a huge dent next month as well since it’s time to pay up for the White Album Dollfie Dream, so I probably have to scale back on the auction activities….

Yeah Rin will have a specific outfit for her, but now it’s a toss up between her and a potential new daughter.

Yes, spending has been huge, but I am very close to collecting the majority of the items I wanted now, hoping to be able to take it easy for the rest of the year. And a potential daughter is in the horizon as well! Haha, hope I can reveal her by next week.
Asuka, Airi and Saber have their own outfits already so no change there. Sasara will of course wear swimsuit maid when I get it, Escalayer is still undetermined since it’s difficult to get good looking maid outfit for DDDy. Feena may very well wear the Rei French maid, Fate is assigned to Floral Mint, Natsuki will have Battle Waitress, etc.
