Dollfie Dream Asuka, Rin and Saber Photo Session
Been quiet for the past couple of days, but I finally started to feel better for the past day so I decided to catch this chance to go out with my Dollfie Daughters again. The main objective this time was to correct a few oversights I had in the last outing so I had to take DD Asuka アスカ and DD Rin 遠坂 凛 out again, but that would be a tad too dry just to keep taking photos of those two so I decided to take DD Saber out with me as well.

How long has it been since I acquired the cloak for Saber? Hmm ever since Airi arrived? Yeah, I been wanting to do a Saber solo shoot out for that long, but laziness and procrastination delayed it for this long! Errr, not really, I was busy with other stuff and had the lighting setup packed away and didn't pull them back out until just recently. Anyway, I been wanting to do this shoot out with Saber standing in front of the Buckingham Palace and I have finally done it! I think I managed to pack a few pretty good shots in there, hopefully you would enjoy them as much as I did :D
Dollfie Dream Daughters Grand Glorious Gathering Sixteen Daughters Version
A few days ago, I welcomed my Sixteenth Dollfie Dream Daughter DD娃娃 人偶 Matou Sakura to my family; and I had Saber, Rin and Ecchi Lion came out to gave Sakura a warm welcome; but that was not all that I had in mind! The number sixteenth daughter also mark the completion of a Platoon!! Since such a significant milestone cannot be ignored or overlooked.... so I have decided to summon all of my daughters together for a full family portrait (it's been a while since I did the last family photo)! This special event is also know as Dollfie Dream Daughters Grand Glorious Gathering, DDDGGG for short!

It's been almost two weeks since I started this Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na Visual Novel marathon run project which includes the original Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na Visual Novel (2005) August soft, Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na -Brighter than dawning blue- (2009) Aria soft and Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na -Moonlight Cradle- (2009) August soft, it's a massive undertaking that I have never attempted before. But after over a week worth of effort, I am finally getting close to the midway point. This project really started when I redecorated my room with three Feena fam Earthlight Dakimakuras and one bath towel, then all of a sudden I wondered about how much do I really know about her.

I am just going to say it to get it off my chest, Natsuki Takamizawa (鷹見沢 菜月) deserves more attention than she is getting! Ok, while I don't think Natsuki is in the same league as Feena in terms of elegance and beauty, and she may just be a plain Jane next door neighborhood girl; but she is quite cute in her own rights, I don't understand why there hasn't been a single figure made of her yet.

I have always heard about how Anime Expo is one of the largest anime convention in North America but I have never once thought about going there myself in previous years. However, the convergence of various factors this year including the chance of meeting some of the friends I have made online at figure.fm, a trip to Volks USA and meeting Danny in person were enough to persuade me to make this journey. So, for this past weekend, I have picked my most pampered Dollfie Dream, DD娃娃 Kiriha Kuze 紅瀬桐葉 to accompany me to Anime Expo 2010 in Los Angeles!

It was only a matter of time before I put two of my most favorite Dollfie Dream daughters DD Saber Lily セイバー・リリィ and DD Kiriha Kuze 紅瀬桐葉 together for a full photo shoot, the pictures from the New Year Greeting post were merely a preview of what was probably a fact that was waiting to happen; I wouldn't put it past some of you who regularly visit my blog that this was already in the work ^^; What kind of photo shoot would I put together for my most favorite daughters the more mature and sexy Lily and together? Well, I actually tried to throw in a mixture of themes this time, involving the sexy, sisterly love and some light yuri perhaps =3.
ToHeart 2 PC version Kusugawa Sasara Part 1
Ever since the announcement of Dollfie Dream Sasara 久寿川 ささら by Volks a few days ago, I have assigned utmost priority to learn about Sasara's story. It's funny that I have been putting it off for more than a year, and I know I have been wanting to do it but the announcement of DD Sasara gave me the final nudge in the back I needed to start another visual novel marathon. I suppose this is my first Leaf game as well.

Alright, so I finally made it to the new cast on the PS2 port version Estel Freesia. What can I say about her? Estel is quite a tsundere, more than Natsuki (especially after I started her Moonlight Cradle arc) and definitely a tough nut to crack! I am going to try a slightly different approach and compact her story a bit more, Feena's story was way too long and I probably had way too much details in the last writeup.
Dollfie Dream Kiriha X Sasara with School Swimsuit Maid & He is My Master Maid set
It's been another intense camera action day as I have a lot on my agenda. The first order of business is to have two of my lovely daughters to try out the two of the most adorable maid dress set from Kyoto 7, Sasara School Swimsuit Maid and He is My Master Maid Dress set. There is no argument for who should wear the School Swimsuit Maid, but there was room for debate for the He is My Master Dress set, I finally decided to have Kiriha model for us, why Kiriha? Because she is my most pampered daughter! There will be some hints of yuri action here and there in this photo session, as I finally come to term to fulfill the promise I made way back to take some yuri photos for my daughters XD. It's been a few days since Airi arrived at my residence, and I have to admit that I have grown to like her more and more as each day gone by. So it's natural that I put together a photo shoot for her with a proper background~ I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do :)

Can see why they’d only let trickle a small amount of their goods through and on Yahoo Auction to boot, creates higher profit margin. ^^;;
Might be true for the seller, but I don’t think I want to fall too deep into the bidding war trap where my money will certainly not be well spent there.

Lovely dress. And looking at the price (30,000 yen), I think you should be glad you didn’t win it. That’s like the price of 1/2 a dollfie.
Might be fine for people with only one or two daughters, but I have a family of 8 and with more on the way, it is not good to get expensive dress like this.

i hate auctions, but will turn to them when i must have something
though luckily most of the rare stuff i wanted was listed with a buyout price so i wasn’t tempted to destroy my finances in a bidding war (almost spend $300 (or was it $400) on that gsc wedding azusa thou one time ^^;;; thank goodness i lost that one… well maybe. woulda been nice to have her in the collection ^^;;)

It’s a lovely dress, in retrospect, 30k yen was probably a reasonable price tag for that dress lol…
I prefer rare items with buyout price as well, bidding war just artificially inflate the price of an item to cater one or two individual. Sure I can toss more money at it but why? Yes it would have been nice to have that dress in my collection, but alas, I prefer to “buy” for a price I believe it’s reasonable versus being dictated by how much someone else wanted to pay.
