It’s the news I have been waiting to hear for more than a week now, Volks International English site has finally released some information on Dollfie Dream Gathering that was only available in Volks News Vol. 35 before.
And new images for the new Dollfie Dream.

While I have pretty much decided I am going to adopt Natsuki from the get go, these promotional images and detail description just simply reinforce my plan even further! Not too wild about the striped thigh high, may give her a white one instead! Love the hot pants though! She will be my first girl to wear pants but then again, I might make her cosplay play one of my other favorite character instead!
I made it no secret in the past that I care very much the background story of everything raging from PVC figures to Dollfie Dream. And while I have already been able to make out from the Japanese site that the background story for Natsuki is that she loves to play games and cosplay but it’s only until today did it finally came to me… Natsuki must be an otaku (ok may be I am wishful thinking, but someone who loves to hang around Akihabara after school, loves to play games and cosplay is pretty darn close to an otaku to me)! Oh man, that sealed the deal right there! While I was initially hesitant about my comprehension on Moe’s background, but it seemed I was right after all…. Moe is a moeblob >.>;
What is ‘ After School Akihabara Girls ’ ? 
Natsuki, bright and cheerful, lover of games and cosplay. Moe, shy and fearful of strangers, with no hobby that could be called a hobby.
It’s a tale of these two girls and the new friends they find, a tale told in the mysterious place of ‘Akihabara’. Be sure to keep an eye out for how this story develops!
The biggest surprise for me, however, is the DDDy body stocking normal skin colored that Volks is releasing along with the new Dollfie Dream! And the renewal version of Dollfie Head Cap? May be they realized it was a pain to put it on?
Why didn’t they release these along with Sasara is beyond me! Sasara certainly needed the body stocking! But I will be sure to pick some up!
And on a separate and unrelated news, Volks USA has “finally” restocked my favorite SD Type C saddle stand! Get yours before they are sold out again!

Oh, I thought you were against that whole idea of making giant robot cute? Closest thing I can think of would be Uesugi Kenshin or Narika from Beat Blade Haruka making their debut in the Dollfie Dream lineup

I think Natsuki will be the first full time cosplayer in my family since I don’t have a preset image in my head about how she should look like! I picked up a few doll stands this time and even had an extra one planned for Natsuki already! And the story to introduce her to the family too, sort of planned a few scene in the Dollfie Dream Theater already!
Moe is moeblob? i dont even know what that means ^^; these girls are quite the opposite though.
must get the new body stocking and i have Yoko sitting most of the time so that straddle isnt as tempting but im sure ill need one eventually. hopefully i can work these into my budget @_@
I didn’t know that word until recently. Apparently, a moeblob is a character that lack any definable character trait. So with Moe lacking any hobby that can be called a hobby of her own, she is falling into that moeblob category until Volks comes out to give us a better definition of her background. I can’t wait to see details on DD Gathering lottery already X(, but as usual the USA lottery will take longer to ship but I don’t want to put all my eggs on the International lottery.
So Natsuki’s body is DDdy and L bust, I think L bust is okay with me cause I always prefer M bust
L bust is associated with DD Type II body, DDDy has their own line of bust.
I like those striped stockings; the only thing I like more than striped thigh highs might be checkered thigh highs.
Man, $55 for a stand? o_O That’s uhh, quite a bit for a metal disc and pole.

May be the striped stocking will grow on me eventually, will see how it turns out when Natsuki arrives. I agree $55 for a metal disc and a pole sounds high but I have build a custom stand already in the past, I used a lot of material I have on hand and was able to build them cheaply but they do not function as well. I tried to cost out a more elaborate DIY design with “adjustable height feature” and it didn’t turn out a lot cheaper than buying the Volks stand.
