It's been another intense camera action day as I have a lot on my agenda. The first order of business is to have two of my lovely daughters to try out the two of the most adorable maid dress set from Kyoto 7, Sasara School Swimsuit Maid and He is My Master Maid Dress set. There is no argument for who should wear the School Swimsuit Maid, but there was room for debate for the He is My Master Dress set, I finally decided to have Kiriha model for us, why Kiriha? Because she is my most pampered daughter! There will be some hints of yuri action here and there in this photo session, as I finally come to term to fulfill the promise I made way back to take some yuri photos for my daughters XD. Ever since the announcement of Dollfie Dream Sasara 久寿川 ささら by Volks a few days ago, I have assigned utmost priority to learn about Sasara's story. I am just going to say it to get it off my chest, Natsuki Takamizawa (鷹見沢 菜月) deserves more attention than she is getting! Ok, while I don't think Natsuki is in the same league as Feena in terms of elegance and beauty, and she may just be a plain Jane next door neighborhood girl; but she is quite cute in her own rights, I don't understand why there hasn't been a single figure made of her yet.

Alright, so I finally made it to the new cast on the PS2 port version Estel Freesia. What can I say about her? Estel is quite a tsundere, more than Natsuki (especially after I started her Moonlight Cradle arc) and definitely a tough nut to crack! I am going to try a slightly different approach and compact her story a bit more, Feena's story was way too long and I probably had way too much details in the last writeup.

How long has it been since I acquired the cloak for Saber? Hmm ever since Airi arrived? Yeah, I been wanting to do a Saber solo shoot out for that long, but laziness and procrastination delayed it for this long! Errr, not really, I was busy with other stuff and had the lighting setup packed away and didn't pull them back out until just recently. Anyway, I been wanting to do this shoot out with Saber standing in front of the Buckingham Palace and I have finally done it! Been quiet for the past couple of days, but I finally started to feel better for the past day so I decided to catch this chance to go out with my Dollfie Daughters again. The main objective this time was to correct a few oversights I had in the last outing so I had to take DD Asuka アスカ and DD Rin 遠坂 凛 out again, but that would be a tad too dry just to keep taking photos of those two so I decided to take DD Saber out with me as well.

A few days ago, I welcomed my Sixteenth Dollfie Dream Daughter DD娃娃 人偶 Matou Sakura to my family; and I had Saber, Rin and Ecchi Lion came out to gave Sakura a warm welcome; but that was not all that I had in mind! The number sixteenth daughter also mark the completion of a Platoon!! Since such a significant milestone cannot be ignored or overlooked.... so I have decided to summon all of my daughters together for a full family portrait (it's been a while since I did the last family photo)! This special event is also know as Dollfie Dream Daughters Grand Glorious Gathering, DDDGGG for short!

It's been almost two weeks since I started this Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na Visual Novel marathon run project which includes the original Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na Visual Novel (2005) August soft, Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na -Brighter than dawning blue- (2009) Aria soft and Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na -Moonlight Cradle- (2009) August soft, it's a massive undertaking that I have never attempted before. But after over a week worth of effort, I am finally getting close to the midway point. This project really started when I redecorated my room with three Feena fam Earthlight Dakimakuras and one bath towel, then all of a sudden I wondered about how much do I really know about her.
Dollfie Dream Kiriha at AnimeExpo 2010 in Los Angeles
I have always heard about how Anime Expo is one of the largest anime convention in North America but I have never once thought about going there myself in previous years. However, the convergence of various factors this year including the chance of meeting some of the friends I have made online at figure.fm, a trip to Volks USA and meeting Danny in person were enough to persuade me to make this journey. So, for this past weekend, I have picked my most pampered Dollfie Dream, DD娃娃 Kiriha Kuze 紅瀬桐葉 to accompany me to Anime Expo 2010 in Los Angeles!
WOW, i was comparing these shots with your “Miss Summer Dollfie” shots(congrats again btw ^^) and the clarity with the resolution is freakin amazing! there wasnt much sun this time but it looks like this cam does a great job at capturing color.
Asuka still looks amazing as ever in that flower bed, love the second shot in the grass ^^
Thanks, one of the reason why I hadn’t take Escalayer out with me was because I am waiting for the Mio pantsu to arrive. I am quite happy with the shots so far, it’s superior to my old settings, but I still have much to learn!

You can bring up the original 4288X2848 canvas from Flickr? Do you have a premium account? When I upload stuff on my Flickr it always downsizes the images.
Yeah I have a premium account, with the amount of photos I upload every month, it makes sense. So far I am quite happy with the D5000, I like it when I select AF wide area, it will indicate which ones of the 11 point track it was able to achieve focus, so I don’t have to guess. And did I mention that I don’t have to worry about memory capacity anymore XDDDD. The Auto mode has a tendency to keep the aperture at wide (probably due to the cloudy weather) so I was having a hard time keeping the whole Dollfie in focus, so a bunch of shots weren’t super sharp like the way I wanted it. The lighting condition wasn’t optimum so when I shoot manual mode and dial down the the aperture, some of the shots weren’t as bright as the others. I cut out early (instead of running out of space, what a change!) due to the deteriorating lighting condition and wanted to check out the photos I took so far. The software that comes with the Nikon has a cool feature where the focus points are in each unmodified pictures, so it’s easy to pick out which ones I want to take a closer look at. I wish the sun was out more yesterday so I could have taken more pictures. There are more photos I would love to share, just from a purely technical point of view. I will upload them to my flickr later today, now I got to rest after eating a big buffet lunch ;s

I am quite content with what I have now, at least for the moment that is. My main focus is Dollfie Dream Photography right now so I think I am fine at least for now. Please feel free to give any comments you might have on those photos.
